International Collaborations with Academic Institutions

SAMViT facilitates various forms of global academic collaboration. International Collaborations add multifold value to institutions and its stakeholders. SAMViT works closely with academic institutions in identifying suitable partner universities across different countries that will help to expand student experience, faculty growth and more impactful research-oriented activities

  • Understand the key features along with the interest areas for collaboration of the Higher Educational Institution.

  •  Identify prospective partner institution(s) from other countries for
    possible collaborations.

  • Discuss the areas of mutual interests for collaborations and map the activities of both the institutions to make sure it is a WIN-WIN situation
    for all participants.

  • Arrange physical visit/ online interaction between the relevant authorities of two institutions.

  • Based on discussion, support is provided in drafting of MoU which is acceptable by both the institutions.

  • After the signing of MoU, SAMViT continues the handholding for both the institutions towards impactful joint activities.

  • An opportunity to explore universities across globe and connect with them to check the possibility of collaborations for joint academic activities

Faculty Enhancement Activities

Teachers / Faculty have been a crucial pillar for any academic institution. As mentioned in ancient scriptures of India the relationship of “Guru” (teacher) and “Shishya” (student) is sacred. In today’s world, the profession of teaching has become more demanding with continuous knowledge and skill up-gradation is required. Studytour_GCC

International Study Tours

Popularly known as the “Global Immersion Program” is designed exclusively for students to help them explore a new country. The program focuses on providing students with first-hand experience of classroom sessions at a foreign university along with visits to industries and government organisations. The students are awarded “Certificates of Participation” from the host university. Students also tend to enjoy the beautiful lifestyle and work culture of the country they visit.

  • An international study tour of short duration [ 6 to 7 days] helps the participants in getting glimpses of international higher education in the country they visit
  • The tour includes academic session/s on a pre-decided topic, industry visits and local
    sightseeing
  • SAMViT organizes academic sessions and industrial visits whereas the local sightseeing, international travel, visa, accommodation, food and local transportation is arranged by the tour operator. The Indian institute can make these arrangements through their partner travel company OR SAMViT can suggest the tour operators from the institute’s city. towards impactful joint activities.
  • The participants get to witness the academic trends, business culture, and lifestyle of
    the country they visit.
  • Students are awarded of ‘Certificate of Participation’ by the host overseas institution, thereby adding significant value to their visit.

The Years 2020- 2021 has changed the dynamics of education sector. The New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 introduced by the Ministry of Education, India has provided students with a flexibility in choice of subject, course and its duration. Similarly, the ease of teaching online and the latest edu-tech tools have helped faculty to connect and teach students from any part of the world.

SAMViT offers a blended online -offline model to provide students with customized certificate
program and training sessions that would enhance their value and knowledge. SAMViT has tied up
with various independent organizations across globe to offer courses in niche topics.

Inbound/Outbound High Profile Delegations

SAMViT arranges delegations of the senior authorities from the academic institutions in India and overseas. The delegations are arranged as per the mutual convenience of both, the visiting and host institutions. Normally a multi-fold agenda is set during these delegations, so that it adds significant value to the participants.

SAMViT’s focus is to arrange in-person direct interactions between the relevant authorities to have a clear and in-depth understanding between them. These meetings can be online or in-person depending upon the overall situation and feasibility to travel.

  • SAMViTunderstands the objective(s) of the delegation and accordingly plans the visit of the delegates.
  • A multi-fold agenda is designed to gain maximum output for its participants.
  • Relevant travel arrangements are made in the host country and meetings are arrange as per the comfort of the visiting delegates.

SAMViT also offers customized activities as per the requirements of the institutions and professional organizations. SAMViT offers a variety of programs designed exclusively for individuals and groups.

The summer/winter schools provide rich experience with variety of courses offered by the universities in different countries. SAMViT offers a wide range of these summer and winter school programs. Institutions, who plan to have this program as an extended version of the core curriculum, are provided with customised programs as per their requirements.

SAMViT offers students with ‘International Live Projects’ wherein the students are assigned specific ‘Live Projects’ from various international consultancies and are expected to complete them in specific timeline. The students are given specific tasks and they are mentored by the relevant authorities providing them guidance on completing these tasks. By participating in these projects, the students get an experience of working in multicultural environment and are awarded ‘Certificate of Participation’.

SAMViT supports individual entrepreneurs and start-ups to enhance their skill and uplift their capabilities. SAMViT organises national and international sessions that focus on various aspects of entreprenuership. SAMViT also organises special delegations of start-up founders to other countries to connect with counterparts and explore business opportunities in that country.
